Sports Event Funding (SEF) Program Press Release.

The SEA will receive applications for its Sports Events Funding (SEF) program until 3:00 PM on Friday, July 15, 2022. Click here for more information.  



The SEA will receive sealed bids for Heating System Repairs for the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.



Due to the COVID-19 pandemic SEA, Stadium Authority, and Sports Commission Board meetings will be held remotely via Zoom Conferencing, except as noted below. Procedure for public participation during remote meetings can be found here.

The Sports & Exhibition Authority (SEA) is governed by a seven member Board of Directors appointed by both the County of Allegheny and the City of Pittsburgh. The SEA's existence is pursuant to the Sports and Exhibition Authority Act (16 P.S. Section 5502-A et seq.).

The Stadium Authority is a sister agency to the SEA. It is governed by a five member Board of Directors appointed by the City of Pittsburgh and also exists pursuant to the Sports and Exhibition Authority Act (16 P.S. Section 5502-A et seq.).
