Sports Event Funding (SEF) Program Press Release

The SEA and its Sports Commission have announced that they will award a total of $878,250 to eighteen (18) organizations through their Sports Event Funding (“SEF”) Program.



The SEA will receive pricing for Stage Steps at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

A Stadium Authority Board Meeting will be held on Thursday, September 19th, at 10:00 in the DLCC Executive Board Room, first floor. There will be no Zoom component for this board meeting.

The Sports & Exhibition Authority (SEA) is governed by a seven member Board of Directors appointed by both the County of Allegheny and the City of Pittsburgh. The SEA's existence is pursuant to the Sports and Exhibition Authority Act (16 P.S. Section 5502-A et seq.).

The Stadium Authority is a sister agency to the SEA. It is governed by a five member Board of Directors appointed by the City of Pittsburgh and also exists pursuant to the Sports and Exhibition Authority Act (16 P.S. Section 5502-A et seq.).
