Sports Event Funding (SEF) Program Press Release
The SEA and its Sports Commission have announced that they will award a total of $775,000 to sixteen (16) organizations through their Sports Event Funding (“SEF”) Program.
The SEA will receive proposals for Fire Alarm Monitoring, Support, & Inspection Services at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic SEA, Stadium Authority, and Sports Commission Board meetings will be held remotely via Zoom Conferencing, except as noted below. Procedure for public participation during remote meetings can be found here.
The Stadium Authority is a sister agency to the SEA. It is governed by a five member Board of Directors appointed by the City of Pittsburgh and also exists pursuant to the Sports and Exhibition Authority Act (16 P.S. Section 5502-A et seq.).
