The West General Robinson Street Garage (WGRSG) is essential to the continued success of the North Shore development. The Garage replaces the parking spaces permanently lost to commercial and residential development on the North Shore.

Features

The WGRSG, owned by the Stadium Authority, contains 1,321 parking spaces on ten levels. The Garage offers daily, evening, and event parking. There are three entrances and exits to the garage on General Robinson Street, Tony Dorsett Drive, and Reedsdale Street, marked by the green stars below.

Light Rail Connection

The new Light Rail Transit (LRT) station, called North Side Station, is located adjacent to the WGRSG. Users have direct access to the station from the garage. North Side Station is part of the “Free Fare Zone” for both daily and event commuters travelling between Downtown and the North Shore. For more information, visit the LRT site at tplus.org.

HOV Entrance Modification

The WGRSG offers an access point to an existing HOV entrance at Mazeroski Way. Roadways, gates, and signal modifications were improved which increases the flow of traffic from the garage. Maguire Group designed this modification.

Retail

On the first floor, the garage includes 5,390 square feet of retail space, which is currently available for lease. For more information regarding the space, please contact the SEA at (412) 393-0200.

Surface Lots Overview

The Stadium Authority owns the surface lots between PNC Park and Heinz Field, which includes Gold Lot 1 through Gold Lot 4, and Red Lot 5.

The Stadium Authority also leases land from PennDOT north of PNC Park to operate as surface parking (the "7 Lots"). The surface lots are managed by or leased to ALCO Parking Corporation (ALCO).
