The North Shore Riverfront Park Maintenance Fund
Thank you for your interest in donating to the North Shore Riverfront Park Maintenance Fund!

The Park is a beautiful 11.25-acre setting along the Allegheny River that provides many wonderful amenities for residents, visitors and recreational boaters. Situated between Heinz Field and PNC Park, it is home to the Great Lawn, Esplanade, Riverwalk, Market Street Pier, Water Steps & Canal Square as well as public art and memorials, such Tribute to Fred Rogers.
DID YOU KNOW over 200,000 people attended the Park in 2009!
Thousands of people enjoy the Park each year with activities such as walking, jogging, biking, fishing, kayaking, special events, and dining at fine restaurants. The Park also holds dozens of events each year, such as regattas, walkathons, triathlons, 5K/10K runs, and much more!

It takes great effort and coordination to keep the Park properly maintained all-year round. Unfortunately, the Authority does not have a dedicated revenue source to meet ongoing costs. Only 30% of the Park maintenance budget is covered by existing special event fees and donations. In addition, unforeseen events such as floods can totally overwhelm our budget. To close the funding gap, the Authority has launched a region-wide campaign to invite all users of the Park to contribute to the maintenance fund.

YOUR donation is crucial to help keep your North Shore Riverfront Park in top condition. Please click on the DONATE TO PARK button. Your donation will be made through the secure PayPal system, and is tax-deductible. Your generous donation will help ensure this important asset along the North Shore will be properly maintained for years to come. Thank you!
